Housing justice begins in the homes of seniors
Composed of community organizations, faith-based groups, housing experts, and senior citizens, Fix Our Homes Illinois calls on the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago to address the dire home repair needs of seniors.
Who We Are
Fix Our Homes Illinois is a broad-based coalition working to give low-income older homeowners the resources they need to age safely, comfortably, and affordably at home.
We raise awareness of seniors’ growing repair needs and connect homeowners to the repair services available today. We also advocate for state and local policies that expand repair resources across Illinois.
Why People Need Fix Our Homes Illinois
Leaking roofs, failing heat, and unaffordable repairs too often stay hidden. Your story can help Illinois lawmakers see what's really happening.
